lead lined door sets
Our lead lined doors are designed with a lead core that runs through the frame, architraves and door leaves providing continuity of protection, ensuring peace of mind for our customers. Doors are manufactured in our workshop in the UK to meet the specific needs of each individual customer.
Doors are available in a range of finishes and colours allowing customers to brighten the interior and create designated zones based on the door colour. In addition to lead lined doors we offer non-lead doors to maintain consistency throughout the build.
Each order is tailored to the customer’s requirements, including size, fixtures and fittings. The lead thickness is specified by a Radiation Protection Advisor, ranging from 1.32mm (Code 3) to 3.55mm (Code 8) to achieve various levels of radiation protection.
Our doors come in a range of opening styles and sizes, from single door leaves to full door sets with frames and architraves. Lead glass vision panels can be incorporated into the doors in any size or shape, and customers can choose between non-fire rated, fire rated or smoke sealed units.

Door Upgrades
Door Upgrades, also referred to as Door Skins, offer a cost-effective solution to enhance existing doors with lead protection. This type of radiation shielding is commonly used within dental and veterinary facilities.
Lead is pressure bonded to a 4mm MDF paint grade panel, which can be used to cover existing doors in cases where a new shielded door and frame set is not specified by the Radiation Protection Advisor. These panels can be manufactured to your current door size or we recommend making them slightly larger so they can be trimmed to fit precisely once the panel has been bonded to the door.
