Envirotect Limited are an established provider of structural radiation and RF shielding to the Medical, Construction and Engineering sectors throughout the UK and internationally.
Envirotect are committed to sustainable business operations in the provision of its products and services, and to minimise the environmental impacts resulting from its activities. This is managed through our business management system that is aligned with the requirements of ISO 14001, Environmental management systems) as well as ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
The effective management and improvement of our environmental performance are high among our business priorities. We look to address environmental issues in all our operations by committing to:
Period reviewing this policy to improve our environmental management performance.
- Proactively protecting the environment, by preventing pollution as a result of our activities.
- Applying a life-cycle approach to our products and services, including procuring in a sustainable and responsible way.
- Taking into consideration the efficient use of energy and materials, including the use of renewable resources, and the minimisation of waste generation by applying the waste hierarchy.
- Safely disposing of waste where it absolutely necessary, ensuring it is done so in a safe manner using carefully selected waste management partner(s).
- Continually improving our environmental performance through specific objectives, monitoring and evaluating our performance on a regular basis.
- Complying with environmental compliance obligations including applicable legislation.
- Educating, training and motivating employees and our partners to work in an environmentally conscious way and identify any opportunities to improve environmental performance.
- Maintaining and improving on emergency plans to prevent or minimise adverse environmental effects.
- To promote the adoption of these principles by our contractors and suppliers.
