filters & waveguides

Envirotect offers a range of filters and waveguides that are tailored to meet the specific needs of various industries, from air conditioning to medical gas systems and RF cages.

A/C Waveguides

Our air conditioning waveguides are designed to allow circulation of air within the enclosure using an appropriate filter.

Standard Sizes:

  • 300 x 300mm
  • 450 x 450mm
  • 600 x 300mm
  • 600 x 600mm

Custom sizes:
Available upon request.

A timber collar is installed on the RF panel for connection of the contractor’s duct work to prevent the cage from grounding issues. These waveguides have undergone independent testing to ensure optimal airflow performance.

Medical Gas Waveguides

Our medical gas waveguides are constructed of a copper pipe with a dielectric isolator to prevent grounding.

They are pressure tested at a minimum of 150psi for a duration of at least 2 hours to ensure quality.

Standard Sizes:

  • 15mm
  • 22mm

Each waveguide is meticulously cleaned internally and sealed with a bung at each end for cleanliness until installation by a certified medical gas contractor.

Electrical Filters

Our standard electrical filters are 32amp single line tubular feed-through filters, which are always required to be used in pairs for optimal performance.

These filters are mounted on a brass plate in various configurations and the assembly is then housed inside a polycarbonate enclosure to ensure electrical safety. Finally, the assembly is mounted on the exterior of the RF Cage.

Customised power ratings and configurations:
Available upon request and can be supplied without the need for a brass plate.

Open Waveguides

Our standard open waveguides are made of brass threaded pipe and include two nuts for attachment to the RF cage. These waveguides are typically 200m in length and have a diameter of 50mm. A general guideline to follow is ensuring that the length of circular waveguides is at least four times the diameter.

Custom lengths and sizes:
Available upon request.

Magnet Penetration Panels and Quench Waveguides

These are manufactured to suit the magnet vendor’s specific requirements.
