41mm Lead Shielded Test Facility
Our customer requested a test unit that would allow quick, safe and easy access. We proposed a sliding cover to negate the need to power the cover if it had been hinged.
41mm Lead shielding to all faces including the cover.
The customer required a fully opening lid to allow easy access, this was achieved with a sliding cover which allowed it to be easily opened and closed with the minimum of effort.
Photograph opposite shows the cover shielding prior to the powder coated casing being attached. The internal view shows the additional lead to the corners again prior to the final lining being installed.
Photograph opposite shows the shielded housing for the cover to locate in. The internal area is now shown lined with plywood.
The 2.5 tonne test facility safely loaded and secured ready for delivery.
