Packing
Our lead plasterboard is wrapped and labelled with the contents of each pallet and pallet number for easy identification against the delivery note. The label and delivery note can include as much information as required to ensure easy identification including the customer reference number, room number or any other details required.
Our bespoke control room windows consist of a shielded frame, x-ray glass and architraves. We will also supply a bottle of specialist glass cleaner. Full padding and protection is used for delivery in a sealed crate.
Door and frame sets are packed ready for export along with the tool kits so that everything is ready for our installation team when they arrive on site.
Our door frames and laminate faced doors are all packed with individual edge protection and crate loaded so that the weight is evenly distributed enabling safer loading and handling.
Loading
Lead plasterboard is securely wrapped before being loaded ready for despatch.
Our glass crates are designed to protect the glass and to be as easy as possible to handle for both loading and unloading.
This bespoke specialist x-ray head test cabinet, weighing approximately 2.5 tonnes, was unloaded and positioned as requested in our customers workshop after being securely delivered.
Transportation and Delivery
One of the delivery options we use is a crane self-loading lorry. We always take full responsibility for the safe delivery of the goods to the clients destination.
In partnership with our specialist freight forwarder, we can overcome challenges such as long distances, difficult communications and remote delivery locations to give you complete peace of mind. We can arrange for your goods to be offloaded for you and positioned within your room.
We use curtain sided lorries for cost efficient delivery of bulk loads, usually 25+ tonnes, which we can have delivered within the strictly timed delivery slots that are common with larger building projects.
Our long wheel-base vans give the veratility of deliveries which enable a large capacity of both weight and volume that can be accommodated and unloaded on more confined sites or at the kerbside.
For smaller packages, such as the glass for vision panels, we use regular and reliable couriers. These products are often in stock and can be despatched on the same day as order placement.
