Mini Control Room

Envirotect have been chosen to supply a new control room at the Princess Royal University Hospital.

Due to the lack of space, Envirotect were asked to provide a complete solution for the supply and installation of a mini control room in the new CT room.

The solution was a pre-manufactured and pre-finished demountable screen which could shield to the required 3M height but still support the weight of the lead. The screen also included a full width lead glass observation window and a sliding door.

The booth was manufactured in our factory with wipe clean white laminate faces then disassembled for installation. This meant that the need for wet trades such as plasterers and decorators was not required and the room could be delivered and installed in a single day with minimal disruption to the project.
