Growth creates new MRI role

Envirotect Limited has increased its range of shielding products and taken on a new member of staff. Steve Rumble has been appointed as MRI development manager, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience having spent more than 19 years in the industry.

Radiofrequency and magnetic interference shielding for MRI scanners have been added to the company’s range of radiation shielding products. MRI and radiation shielding often form part of the same project and expanding into MRI is expected to allow Envirotect to offer customers a complete package.

Shielding components will be manufactured at the factory in Bedfordshire to offer bespoke service for customers.

Managing director Niven Smith said: “This is an exciting opportunity to expand our already successful business with a new product range and I am sure with Steve’s years of experience in MRI will prove invaluable.”
