Envirotect team rise to challenge of remote auditing to renew accreditation
Manufacturers of radiation and RF shielding Envirotect has renewed its ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, ensuring that products and services meet the needs of customers through effective quality management systems (QMS). To become ISO 9001:2015 compliant, Envirotect underwent an extensive audit conducted remotely due to the pandemic. Having had ISO 9001 accreditation for a number of years, the Envirotect team was already prepared for the audit and ensured all relevant documentation was available for online review.
Managing Director, Niven Smith says: “Maintaining our accreditation is fantastic news and proves the company’s commitment to ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standard while providing the best possible service to our clients.
“I am extremely proud of the Envirotect team for their achievement this year. Due to the threat of COVID-19 we are having to adapt the way we work, many of our staff have been working from home or were furloughed at some point so for procedures to be followed accurately proves our commitment to providing the best possible service to our customers”.
Envirotect’s range of radiation and RF shielding products includes lead lined plasterboard or plywood, door sets, x-ray screens, observation windows, cabinets, lead glass, lead vinyl and RF cages with associated products including RF tests and RF door maintenance.
